Book Care

Students will learn how to take care of their library books. The librarian will read a story about book care and why it's important to treat your library books well. The story time will include the dos & don'ts of book care. Afterwards, the librarian will show students examples of damaged books such as books with water damage, books that have been bent, books that have broken spines, and books that were colored in. Then the students will receive a coloring sheet as an activity
